Animal Crossing: Wild World

Animal Crossing: Wild World is the Nintendo DS follow-up to the original Animal Crossing game. It was released in Japan on Nov. 23, 2005, North America on Dec. 5, 2005, Australia on Dec. 8, 2005, Europe on Mar. 31, 2006 and South Korea on Dec. 6, 2007. It later had a worldwide release on the Wii U Virtual Console on Oct. 13, 2016.

Animal Crossing: Wild World introduced large changes to its gameplay when compared to its predecessor, with new bugs, fish, furniture, holidays and villagers. It also brought the ability to change character hats and hairstyles, and added online functionality to the series for the first time. Wild World was also the first Animal Crossing game to use the “rolling log” perspective that’s a series standard today.
