Chip has once again returned for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Fishing Tourney #10! This time, he’s got plenty of fishy tempura sets, aquariums and more to give out! How to play

The name of the game is catch as many tourney fish as possible, racking up the total size of all your catches to hit goals that unlock rewards and give you special trophies.

Head over to Lost Lure Creek, where Chip the beaver will greet you and explain the tourney. Once his dialogue has ended, head to the shore and cast your line out towards any sparkling shadows you see — these are the tourney fish you’re aiming to catch. There are four in total: the pond smelt, dace and salmon.

During the Fishing Tourney, tourney fish will respawn every three hours. Once they’ve respawned, you will have the chance to catch them up to seven times. When you’ve caught all of the tourney fish, no more will appear until the next time they spawn.

While you’ll normally only catch one fish at a time, it’s possible to catch two at once, as well. However, using the golden rod will secure you two simultaneous catches each time you cast your line. Rent it from Chip for 80 Leaf Tickets. You can also use Tourney Throw Nets (given as prizes) and Lg. Tourney Throw Nets (20 Leaf Tickets each).
